Kick-off of the holiday season in Downtown as Portland’s 75ft tall Douglas-fir Tree is welcomed to Portland’s Living Room! Say hello to Santa, enjoy free hot chocolate and join in the fun of this annual tradition.

A joyful community sing-along led by Thomas Lauderdale of Pink Martini with local artists and chorale singers, culminating in Santa lighting nearly 10,000 colorful holiday lights downtown.
Hosted by KGW’s Drew Carney, this free competition brings hundreds of carolers downtown, with performances outside shops and a lively “carol-off” finale at The Square.

Celebrate Hanukkah with Chabad of Oregon at the annual Public Menorah lighting, featuring live music, traditional foods, dignitaries, and family festivities.
Nearly 300 tubas from cross Oregon fill the Square with festive brass and sing-along cheer in one of the nation’s largest (and free!) holiday performances.
